Privacy Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
Clozytte is a private closet on your phone. This policy explains what we keep about you, why we keep it, and what you can do about it. It follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.
The short version
- Your closet is visible to nobody but you.
- An outfit reaches the catalog only when you switch it on.
- The photo of you is never published.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or use analytics trackers in the app.
- Delete your account and every photo goes with it.
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address and password. We store the password only as a secure hash, never as you typed it. If you continue with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and a sign-in ID from them, not your Apple or Google password.
- Your catalog choice. Women or Men, which picks the catalog you see. You can change it in Settings.
- Your closet. Photos of your pieces and the details you add: category, name, brand, color, and a note.
- Your outfits. The pieces you group, outfit names, outfit photos, and the pictures we make of you wearing an outfit.
- The photo of you. The full-body photo you save so we can show outfits on you.
- Activity. When you last used the app and which days you used it. We use this to count how many people use Clozytte.
- Reports. If you report a catalog outfit, we record who reported it and when.
Every photo you upload is converted on our server, and camera metadata such as location and device details is removed before it is stored.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your closet yours.
- To show your closet, outfits, and the catalog you picked.
- To make a picture of you wearing an outfit, only when you ask for one.
- To review reported catalog outfits and keep the catalog safe.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not use your photos to train our own AI models, and we do not sell or rent your information.
What other people can see
Your closet, your outfits, and the photo of you are private. When you turn on "Show in catalog" for an outfit and photo, people who use the same catalog can see that outfit's name, its picture of you wearing it, and its pieces with their photos, name, brand, and color. They do not see your name or email address, and they do not see your piece notes.
Anyone who sees a shared outfit can add a copy to their own outfits. The copy keeps the outfit's name and pieces. It never includes the picture of you, and it stays with them if you stop sharing or delete the outfit.
Who helps us run Clozytte
- Cloudflare stores your photos.
- Apple and Google confirm who you are when you continue with them.
- Google (Gemini) makes the picture of you wearing an outfit. When you ask for one, we send Google the photo of you, the photos of the pieces in that outfit, and any pose or expression you chose. They handle that data under their own terms. Nothing is sent to them unless you ask for a picture.
- Our hosting provider runs the servers and database that hold your account.
Some of these providers process data outside the Philippines. We only share what each one needs to do its job.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. An outfit holds up to ten finished pictures of you; a new one replaces the oldest you did not keep. When you remove a piece, outfit, or picture, it is deleted.
When you delete your account from Settings, we delete the account, your closet, your outfits, the photo of you, and every picture and photo file. Copies other people already added from your shared outfits stay with them, without any picture of you. If you signed in with Apple, also remove Clozytte from your Apple ID settings.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act, you can:
- know what we hold about you and how we use it;
- get a copy of your data;
- correct it;
- object to how we use it;
- have it deleted; and
- complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
Most of this you can do in the app. For the rest, email hello@clozytte.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
Clozytte is for people 13 and older. If you are under 18, use it with a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Your data travels over encrypted connections, passwords are hashed, and only you can open your closet. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how your photos are used or shared, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
